The system has a set of tibia plateaus and inlays provided as sample plateaus and sample inlays during an operation phase, in which a surgeon determines anatomical characteristics of a patient. Another set of tibia plateaus and inlays is provided for forming a stock, where the determined plateau and inlay are removed from the stock in another operation phase based on the result of the former operation phase. The tibia plateaus are designed in a geometrically identical manner on a lower side for interaction with bones, where each sample plateau has a flange with a lateral recess.
