The door sill (1) has an inside panel (2) and an outside panel (3), where area extending over whole length of the door sill is provided as inside and outside panels of a door sill panel (5). The inside and outside panels are connected to the door sill panel so as to close the door sill in longitudinal direction. A reinforcement profile (4) is provided between the inside and outside panels. The reinforcement profile is fastened to a door sill frame. The inside and outside panels are fastened to the reinforcement profile by a screw joint. A cover (6) made of plastic is provided.
