The module (1) has a rectangular plastic part comprising an upper side (2) and a lower side (3) that lie above and below in a motor vehicle, in an installation position. A slot (7) extends parallel to the upper side of the plastic part. The upper and lower sides and an internal surface (20) of the slot are provided with adhesives (10) that are expandable through heat application. The slot has a slot section extending continuously from a front side (4) to a back side (5) of the module. A groove (18) is provided on one of the sides.
