The arrangement has a housing for defining a chamber with a lubricant. A differential arrangement is positioned in the chamber. A pair of axles is aligned along a common axis of rotation that projects outwardly from the differential arrangement. A heat exchanger is arranged in the chamber. The heat exchanger comprises fluid passages (14, 16) with an inlet and an outlet for fluid connection with a fluid circuit of an internal combustion engine (10). The heat exchanger is immersed into the lubricant. The fluid passages are cast within a frame of vehicle (12).
