A mobile unit (4) is arranged in proximity to a person (1) for receiving the radio signals by a receiving unit (9). The mobile unit determines collision danger between a rail-bound vehicle sending the radio signals and the person present close to the mobile unit based on the travel information contained in the received radio signals and warns the person based on the determined collision danger.
