The collector has a brine circuit (3) connected to a heat pump for receiving earth heat. A drainage (1) for rain water is arranged adjacent to the circuit, where the drainage is arranged parallel to the circuit. The distance of the drainage from the circuit amounts to less than 1.0 meters. The drainage and the circuit are of 0.5 meters, where the drainage and the circuit are surrounded by the earth. The drainage is arranged above the circuit at an earth region. The drainage is connected with a rain water inlet i.e. rain drain or rain water collecting point.
