The method involves treating location problem analogous to creation of an optimal stock portfolio. Stock price in stock portfolio problem corresponds to time-resolved wind force measurements. Probabilities and risks for off-peak power production are determined at time of small demands. A number of immersion heater systems in households is determined based on the determined probabilities. Surplus off-peak power is drawn into solar supported heating systems using the immersion heater systems for heating water contained in the heating systems.
