The method involves taking an identification label from a delivery device (2) e.g. radio frequency identification chip, by an end consumer/user during delivery of a clothing article to be cleaned. The identification label is fixed on the article, and a collection identity card and a collection receipt are taken from the delivery device. The card, receipt, and the label are detected during the return of cleaned clothing article by a checking device, which checks the allocation of identification label to the card and receipt by a relational operation. An independent claim is also included for a retail shop for chemical cleaning of textile for an end consumer.
