The steam power plant includes a bypass pipe (10,12), which serves for the output control of the steam power plant, is connected in parallel to at least one pressure stage (4-6) of a steam turbine. The bypass pipe allows only a portion of a maximum allowable steam mass flow to be supplied to the corresponding pressure stage of the steam turbine.
