Drive train controlling method for motor vehicle, involves predefining predetermined value depending on clutch slip resulted from rotational speed difference of crankshaft and transmission drive shaft, and/or gear
The method involves arranging a friction clutch between a crank shaft and a transmission drive shaft. An internal combustion engine is stopped by a control device for the combustion engine, when the speed of the transmission drive shaft is decreased below a predetermined value. Fuel supply to the combustion engine is intermitted for stopping the combustion engine. The predetermined value is predefined depending on clutch slip resulted from rotational speed difference of the crankshaft and the transmission drive shaft, and/or a multi speed shiftable gear.
