The multifunctional device for modification of cellulose material such as printed- and paper products from books, magazines, manuscripts, maps and works of art on paper, technical drawings and other documents, comprises a drying chamber (1) that is arranged for drying the cellulose material, equipped with a heating body, circulation device, a control for temperature regulation or with infrared unit and is firmly connected to a modification chamber (2) with an evaporation chamber (3) that is equipped with a device for heating reaction carrier gases. The multifunctional device for modification of cellulose material such as printed- and paper products from books, magazines, manuscripts, maps and works of art on paper, technical drawings and other documents, comprises a drying chamber (1) that is arranged for drying the cellulose material, equipped with a heating body, circulation device, a control for temperature regulation or with infrared unit and is firmly connected to a modification chamber (2) with an evaporation chamber (3) that is equipped with a device for heating reaction carrier gases, a device for the separation of evaporated solvent, a container for collecting the separated liquid solvent and the volatile material, a valve for feed line, and a valve (13) for the external recirculation through a device (14) for regeneration of the drying fluid. The modification chamber is connected with the evaporation chamber with a support mantle with reaction carrier fluid and/or the drying chamber is connected with the modification chamber with the support mantle. The drying chamber is equipped with double walls or a double base, a container with regeneratable drying agent, external containers with renewable drying agent, rack and/or jacketed rack and/or with a container for cellulose material. The drying chamber forms a jacketed bearing or a shelf for cellulose materials. The external container is equipped with a device for regulating the temperature, flow rate and flow velocity of the drying fluid and/or with the device for freezing out the water from the drying agent. The device comprises two external containers, in which one container is arranged for regeneration of the drying agent and another one is arranged for drying the dry fluid by the drying chamber. The modification chamber is equipped with a device for generating and regulating the vacuum and the pressure, and with the device for temperature regulation. The modification chamber, drying chamber and evaporation chamber are equipped with nozzle for flowing the fluid between the content of the cellulose material and the unit that guarantees the mutual movement of the cellulose materials and nozzles by a drive mechanism. The drying chamber, the modification chamber and the evaporation chamber are installed on a joint frame and are connected to a transport means. An independent claim is included for a method for the modification of cellulose material.
