The boiler has a burner (2) detachably fastened at a boiler housing (1). Service retaining elements (3, 4) are provided to the boiler housing and to the burner for arrangement of the burner in a position dismantled from the boiler housing. The service retaining elements are lockably formed with one another. The service retaining elements are formed from a plug-in part (3.1) and from a retaining part (4.1). The retaining part is formed from a receiver opening and is lockably formed into the insertable plug-in part with respect to the receiver opening of the retaining part.
