The valve (1) has a group of body elements (10, 30, 40, 50), where two adjacent body elements stand in close contact together via body end surfaces (15, 34) and define a passage. One of the body end surfaces defines a recess (36) and a fuel recycling path (38) in a section outside of an outer circumference and a high pressure fuel passage (21). The recess is divided and lies at a distance from the path. The other body end surface defines another recess (28), which overlaps the recess (36) and the path. The recess (36) is brought in contact with the path.
