The arrangement has a tube set-up (50) arranged as a pipe for heating up water fed from the arrangement by utilizing recycling fuel. A container (22) includes an outlet (34) arranged in an upper area (22a) of the arrangement for purpose of returning a fuel to a fuel tank. An outlet (26) of the container is arranged in a lower area (22b) preferably in a base of the container. A supply arrangement (30) supplies water from a cleaning stage to the lower area. The supply arrangement includes a supply unit (38) for supplying the water to the lower area and to areas lying over the lower area. An independent claim is also included for a method for treatment of water in a fuel cleaning stage for cleaning a combustion engine fuel by water.
