The device (10) has a spray tube (20) with spraying openings (22) for spraying process fluids such as detergent solutions, water, dampening agent or other liquid media on rollers or other components of a printing machine, and a fluid pump (50). The spray tube is connected directly to the fluid pump. The fluid pump discharges the process fluid in an undeflected manner into the spray tube in a discharge direction. The fluid pump is operable with a clock frequency of 2-30 Hertz. The delivery volume of the fluid pump is in the range of 0.1-10 milliliter.
