The method involves configuring networked transceivers (3.1-3.7) as slave devices, and applying the transceivers to a master device (2). Each transceiver is associated with a frequency within a frequency band by the device. The transceivers are associated with different transmission priorities by the master device. A 2.4 gigahertz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio band is utilized as the frequency band for communication with remote devices. A protocol with an external-coexistence protocol layer (5) is utilized for communication between the master device and the transceivers.
