False-twist texturing process monitoring method for producing and/or treating multi-filament synthetic thread, involves detecting volumetric expansion of thread bobbin as parameter of thread bobbin per time interval
The method involves winding-up a multi-filament synthetic thread (1) to a thread bobbin (11) at an end of a sequence of multiple process steps. An actual value of a parameter of the thread bobbin is detected when winding-up the thread. The actual value is compared with a predetermined reference value of the parameter of the thread bobbin. Volumetric expansion of the thread bobbin is detected as the parameter of the thread bobbin per time interval. A quality signal is generated during the observance and/or a deviation of the expansion. A range of tolerance is assigned to the reference value.
