The transmission (1) has an inner input shaft (20) surrounded by an outer input shaft (22). A clutch is connected to the inner input shaft and another clutch is connected to the outer input shaft. Two layshafts (40, 50) are spaced apart from the input shafts (20, 22), and are arranged in parallel to the input shafts. Fixed gearwheels (25, 31) mesh with gear idler gearwheels (64, 65), respectively. A fixed gearwheel (24) is placed on the inner input shaft, where the gearwheel meshes with a gear idler gearwheel (60). An independent claim is also included for a power train device comprising a power source.
