The aggregate (1) has a piston rod (4) axially plunged into a working cylinder (3), and a damping piston (5) arranged at an end of the piston rod. The damping piston divides the cylinder into working chambers (6a, 6b). One of the working chambers is connected with a compensation chamber (7) through a base valve (2). The base valve has a valve body provided with an opening and a valve disk provided with a passage. The valve body and the valve disk are arranged parallel to each other and fastened with each other by a longitudinally slotted engaging fixing element running towards a center axis.
