The capacitive position sensor has multiple control electrodes which extend in a direction on a plane, and multiple detection electrodes which extend in another direction on another plane. The latter plane is shifted to the former plane such that the detection electrodes intersect the control electrodes at multiple intersection points, which together form a position detection arrangement. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a touch-sensitive field for a capacitive tactile sensor; and (2) a method for detecting the position of an actuation at a two-dimensional position sensor.
