PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide basket type grasping forceps which enables a concretion or the like to be surely grasped by equalizing an interval between elastic wires even inside a narrow body cavity.;SOLUTION: A treating part 7 is provided with four wire sets 13 each composed of two elastic wires 12 whose distal and proximal ends are each bound at a distal binding part 10 and a proximal end binding part 11, and seven bending points 15a-15g and a branching point 16 where each of the elastic wires 12 is branched at an interval from each other are formed at the same position in an axial direction of a part in the middle between the distal end and the proximal end of the wire sets 13. When the first bending point from the distal end of each wire set 13 is defined as a first bending point 15a and the second bending point as a second bending point 15b, the wire sets 13 are disposed in parallel from the distal binding part 10 to the proximal end side, the first bending point 15a is bent to the outer side on the proximal end side and the second bending point 15b is bent to the proximal end side relative to a straight line state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
