PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety in remote operation of on-vehicle equipment, in a remote operation controller and a remote operation control method.;SOLUTION: This remote operation controller has a DCM and a master ECU. The DCM receives a remote operation requirement signal requesting the remote operation of the on-vehicle equipment transmitted from a center. The master ECU requires, to a slave ECU, confirmation of whether a precondition for executing the remote operation of the on-vehicle equipment is established or not when the DCM receives the remote operation request signal from the center, and executes the remote operation of the on-vehicle equipment when it is decided that the precondition is established as the result of a response from the slave ECU.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
