USE OF A RICE EXTRACT AS AN ACTIVE AGENT INDUCING THE SYNTHESIS OF SIRT PROTEINS IN SKIN CELLS

Use of a herbal extract as an active agent for inducing endogenous synthesis of silent information regulator (SIRT) protein in the skin cells or for the preparation of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition. Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising the herbal extract, in a medium; and (2) a cosmetic treatment of the skin to increase the endogenous synthesis of SIRT proteins in the skin cells comprising applying the composition containing the active agent on the skin.
