The watercraft has a hanging drydocked hull equipped with a drift (78) and a mast (2) for receiving a sail. A stay (26) with a plastic part (27) is stretched between a stem chain plate and hounds (7) which are integrated to the mast. Two wires (8, 9) are respectively stretched between the hounds. Each wire is provided with a unit for exerting a force contrary to an elastic part to reduce or elongate length of the wire for causing inclination of the mast with the wind in a transversal plane and increasing a rake of the mast in the plane.
