The fairing (2) has openings (26) that extract air contained in a front compartment and openings (28) that admit air contained in a rear compartment. The openings (26, 28) are provided in the form of slots extending perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (X). A front part (4), a central part (6) and a rear part are provided in respective planes, where the planes are parallel to each other. The front and rear parts have an isosceles trapezium shape and the part (6) has a rectangular shape. The part (6) has rectangular elements (6`, 6``) with a length oriented perpendicular to the axis. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a chassis, a front cradle, a rear cradle and a motor vehicle case fairing.
