The method involves fixing wind bracing panels (11) to edge posts and/or edge beams of each of edge parts of a carrier frame for forming a continuous wind bracing wall, along facade planes, where the wall forms a continuous peripheral enclosure. Exterior thermal insulation panels (12) are arranged along each plane, at exterior of the enclosure. Exterior posts (13) are arranged along each plane, at exterior of the enclosure, for forming a secondary exterior frame that supports an exterior facing (14). The facing is fixed to the posts. An independent claim is also included for a residential building.
