COSMETIC USE OF A CHENOPODIUM PALLIDICAULE EXTRACT

The use of extract(s) of Chenopodium pallidicaule (CP) as active ingredient for the preparation of compositions for treatment of the skin and/or other parts of the exoskeleton (e.g. teeth, hair and nails). Independent claims are also included for (1) extracts of CP adapted for use as above, obtained by a method involving the solubilisation of CP in an aqueous or hydroglycolic medium (2) cosmetic compositions containing 0.01-50 wt.% extract of CP .
