The device has a sleeve (15) comprising an L shaped kerf provided with two parts in which one part is longitudinal. The sleeve is engaged on an upper part (9) of an upper hinge of a casement (3). The longitudinal part of the kerf is engaged on a tenon (10), till the tenon is in a communication zone of the two parts of the kerf. Another part of the kerf is found opposite to the tenon and permits pivoting of the tenon during opening a window e.g. French window, of the casement. An arm (16) deports a curtain pole with respect to a wall comprising the window.
