The assembly (1) has an arranging chute (26) for depositing raceways (6) in a trench (27) arranged along a railway track. The chute is decomposed into an upstream section (29) and a downstream section (30) connected to each other by an articulation (31) around which the downstream section is free to pivot laterally. The chute has a measurement unit (32) measuring an angular spacing at the level of the articulation. A realignment unit (33) pivots the upstream section around the downstream section when the measured spacing exceeds a preset value so as to reduce the spacing.
