The base part (4) has a fixed body (16) comprising four tips, where each tip carries a sample cone (6) that extends along its tip axis (10), where the tip axes are parallel with respect to each other. The tips carrying the sample cone are arranged such that the tip axes intercept orthogonally a same fictive circle. The tips are arranged such that intersection points between the end axes and the circle form four tops of a square. Ends of the tips are situated in a same plane orthogonal to the tip axes. An independent claim is also included for a method for pipetting the liquid using a multichannel pipette.
