The device has a solid base wall (1) integrated with a proximal edge (3) of a solid peripheral side wall (2). A non solid front wall (7) closes a case (C) at the level of a distal edge (4) of the side wall such that an enclosure (8) is delimited by the walls. A flexible plate (9) forms a loud speaker membrane mounted in the enclosure. A magnetic induction current loop (10) is mounted on the side wall at the exterior of the enclosure. The loop is connected to an amplifier and provided in a receiver heatset/prothesis carried by a hearing-impaired person.
