The engine has a cylinder cover (2) closing a cylinder (1), and a piston (3) movable in to and fro movement at the interior of the cylinder. A main combustion chamber (6a) is formed between the top pf the piston and the cover. A fuel injector (5) is mounted on the cover at the top of a cavity (6b). The cavity communicates with the chamber through a chute feed tube (30) formed through a throat of the cavity for permitting removal of fuel by gas passing between the chamber and the cavity while injecting the fuel and rapprochement (21) of the piston to the cover. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing an internal combustion engine.
