Use of apamin (I) (1-10 mu g) for the manufacture of unit dose of a drug for subcutaneous injection every one to six weeks of a medication to relieve symptoms and/or to restore and/or protect the neurons from patients with Parkinson's disease, is claimed. ACTIVITY : Antiparkinsonian. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Potassium channel blocker.
