The machine has a stator provided with windings forming four magnetic poles. The windings are arranged in four winding strings (1). The strings are connected between them by two winding paths (VI, V2) and are equipped with predetermined interchangeable connector links placed between connection points (92, 95) according to an electric voltage under which the machine functions. The links have conductors constituted of electrically conducting lines carried by a connector support made of electrically insulating material.
