The method involves assuring authentication, authorization and accounting service to a consumer node by an active node i.e. ad hoc node, such as computer terminal e.g. portable telephone, of an ad hoc network (2). Service network or applicative network and or authentication, authorization and accounting network is ensured by the active node, where the active node includes hardware and/or software architecture approved and validated by an authorized entity. A service addressed to a new ad-hoc node is ensured by the ad-hoc node. An independent claim is also included for a hardware component to permit a terminal to constitute an active node within ad-hoc network, comprising an operator module.
