The stabilization element has a plate (2) having a main longitudinal axis and a suitable shape. The plate is hollowed of two oblong orifices (4) extending along a main axis of the plate, where the element is suitable to cooperate with loose fixation units that include rods extended by a head. The rod permits a clearance between the rod and the orifice in a position without mechanical tension of a plate along three dimensions of space. An independent claim is also included for an extra-discal stabilization assembly.
