The preform (5) has an envelope with semi-ellipsoid or hollow semi-ellipsoid shape, and an external lip (6e) placed at an external surface of the envelope. The envelope has a lower surface, a posterior surface, a lower part (6a), an average part (6b) and upper part (6c), which are placed close to a floor of mouth, oropharynx internal part of mandibula, maxillary toothed parts and bony palate of a subject. One of the surfaces and/or parts includes openings. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing an adaptable preform.
