The installation (10) has a measuring apparatus (20) including a measuring surface (14) with a bend (22) along a longitudinal direction of a flat windscreen wiper (12). Measuring sensors (24) e.g. resistive type measuring sensors, measure a linear force of a wiper blade. A displacing device (28) displaces the measuring apparatus and a wiper receiving device (16) in a relative manner. The displacing device is actuated during a measuring operation for permitting a dynamic measurement of the linear force of the wiper when the wiper is displaced on the sensors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for measuring distribution of a linear force of a flat windscreen wiper (2) a method for manufacturing a flat windscreen wiper.
