The ground (10) has a plane solid screed (12) housing a rail, where the screed has a groove placed along a longitudinal lateral wall (20) of the rail that permits passage of a flange or a stub of a wheel. The groove has a retractable element (26) that is movable between rest position and solicitation position. The element projects at level of an upper side of the screed to avoid the formation of a cavity in the ground in rest position. The element avoids passage of the stub to permit passage of the wheel in solicitation position. An independent claim is also included for a method for obtaining safe ground.
