The instrument (100) has a fixation screw (21) associated with a U-shaped connection part (26). A locking screw (41) co-operates with branches (27, 28) of the connection part for locking a bar (10). A push rod (130) has an outer transversal section equal to an inner transversal section of a guiding sleeve (110). The rod is mounted in translation in the sleeve such that an end (134) of the rod penetrates in the sleeve via an end (116) of the sleeve so as to contact the bar by sliding in the sleeve. An application unit applies a couple of forces between the sleeve and the rod.
