The folding line (X) defines plats (1-14, 1-14') forming walls of the device. A stretchable film, which is fixed to the base sheet, is stretched by folding the base sheet along the folding line (X) or the folding line (Y) perpendicular to the folding line (X). The film maintains a packed object. The folding line (Y) defines plats so as to form an edge (1-13). A plat (1-1) has cuts (2-5) placed on the line (X) to form projections or pin. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a package.
