The system has an electrovalve (21) and a main electrovalve (23) selectively cutting a circulation of a fire prevention product in a pipe network (13) between a fire prevention product-and-water mixing container (19) and spray nozzles (9). A control unit has a triggering unit chosen from a group comprising smoke and heat detectors (11a, 11b), reversal detector (35), electronic supervisor (27) and manual control box (37) for controlling the elctrovalves in the presence of fire. An assembly of units (21, 23, 13, 9, 19, 11a, 11b, 35, 27, 37) are fixedly assembled inside public transport vehicle.
