The process for filling a foundry mold (201) with molten metal (206) or metal alloy for manufacturing a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, comprises progressively tilting the mold during its filling using a pourer (203), which ensures flow of a molten product in the mold, moving the pourer during tilting of the mold for equalizing the volume present in the mould, initially modeling the internal volume of the mold at a specified geometry to know the instant volume of the mold for flowing the molten product, and pivoting the pourer with respect to the mold. The process for filling a foundry mold (201) with molten metal (206) or metal alloy for manufacturing a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, comprises progressively tilting the mold during its filling using a pourer (203), which ensures flow of a molten product in the mold, moving the pourer during tilting of the mold for equalizing the volume present in the mould, initially modeling the internal volume of the mold at a specified geometry to know the instant volume of the mold for flowing the molten product, pivoting the pourer with respect to the mold, and modeling the internal volume of the pourer at a specified geometry to know the poured volume of the product according to the movement of the pourer. An independent claim is included for a device constituted of a foundry mold.
