The device (1) has a supply pipe (8) connecting a fuel pump (3) to fuel admission inlets (5a-5d) of fuel injectors (4a-4d). A return pipe (9) connects fuel return outlets (6a-6d) of the injectors to a fuel tank (2). The pump is connected to the tank for pumping fuel. The injectors have respective fuel injection passages (7a-7d) for injecting fuel into a combustion engine zone. A return pressure sensor (10) measures the return pressure (Pr) of the fuel passing through the return pipe. A pressure regulating unit (11) regulates the return pressure based on measurements carried by the sensor.
