The method involves applying a coating (16) into two layers on a surface of a sliding board (10), where the coating comprises 100 parts of varnish e.g. varnish used for car body, for 5 parts of flexiblizing additive. The additive softens the varnish for avoiding cracking of the varnish during utilization of the sliding board. The board has a foam core (12) covered with a lamination. The lamination has a fiber layer (14) drowned in a resin matrix.
