The tank (1) has a closed external chamber (2) that is in communication with a hydraulic braking system. A bore hole (18) is situated at inner side of the chamber. A float (10) has a floating element (11) located in the hole in contact with hydraulic fluid (3) having freedom of movement. The float has a rod (15) cooperating with a contact terminal (14) based on a position of the float in the hole. The hole is provided with a horizontal pierced partition (25), where the partition has an orifice (26) permitting passage of the rod of the float.
