The method involves adjusting a fundamental frequency of a pulse width modulation signal of a digital power stage (8) of an audio system (12) using an adjusting unit of a power stage adjusting device (2) according to an incoming frequency of a radio receiver part (6) such that harmonics of the signal are different from the incoming frequency. The incoming frequency is adjusted for the part. The spectrum of the harmonics of the signal does not cause the disturbance of the incoming frequency. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for adjusting a digital power stage of an audio system (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a digital power stage adjusting method.
