The system has a functional magnitude providing module (23C) providing functional magnitude of circumferential speed of a drive wheel (1) of a vehicle. A central control and calculation unit (3) provides functional indication of advancement speed of the vehicle with respect to ground. A comparison module (16), an adder block (17), a digital indication receiving block (23D) and an integral plus derivative regulator (23E) provide sliding indication of the wheel from circumferential and advancement speed difference (epsilon lambda) according to the module (23C) and the unit (3) at given instant.
