The apparatus (1) has an integrated digital microscope (6), and an image identification software analyzing samples e.g. mosquito larvae such as Culicidae, on a collection place or at any other place such as laboratory, by comparing the samples with predefined standard images, where the apparatus serves as a visual microscopic analyzing equipment. A still camera and a video camera (7) are integrated in a manner to photograph the analyzed samples. An integrated global positioning system (8) obtains and stores geographical coordinates of the place of the samples.
