The device has suction and cutting units connected to a rotational driving unit and protection units formed of bent rods (26) in front of a suction zone (26Z). The suction and cutting units are placed inside a shell (27) with an axis. The suction zone is off-centered with respect to the axis, where the zone extends on a circular sector with an angle so as to ensure uniform suction flow in all the points of the zone. The shell has a conical chute (31) at its front on the sector and the axis. The zone forms a crown sector whose front part is formed by an inner surface of the chute.
